Guest Speaker: William H. Tate

Presentation Topic:

Veteran's Life, Death, Money; Secrets & Benefits Everyone Must Know

1.  What are Veteran Care Benefits and Disability Ratings?

2.  How does a Veteran qualify for Benefits and a VA Disability Rating?

3.  What are Family Caregiving and Death Benefits?

4.  How is the new PACT Act a game-changer for some Vets?

WILLIAM TATE was a young, proud patriot, so he joined the Army at age 17. By age 20, he was a commissioned officer and wearing a Green Beret. During his 18 years career, he helped people in Africa, Central America, Europe, and the Middle East.

He served two Gulf War tours, totaling 13 months in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain. As a result, he suffered a service-connected, VA-rated disability. Thus, he can speak from personal experiences dealing with the Veterans Administration (VA).

William always possessed a strong interest in stock market investing. At age 14, he made his first profitable stock market trade and wanted to keep it going.

So after his “Captain America” Army life, he moved to Silicon Valley and became one of Tony Robbins' first Wealth Mastery Coaches. The following year, Morgan Stanley recruited him to become a Financial Advisor, Manager, and Trainer.

But his passion had always been teaching others. So using his 20+ years of training and coaching skills, he taught California Prudent Investor Act and Fiduciary Standards to Bay area lawyers, enrolled agents, and CPAs for their continuing education (CE) credits. He was also active in the Professional Fiduciary Association of California (PFAC) community.

Several lawyers, EAs, and CPAs sent him their clients with “sudden millionaire” situations. They brought William their widows, divorcees, and stock option millionaire cases. His most intriguing referral was a $290 million lawsuit settlement.

He was also a family philanthropy advisor to the San Franciso and Silicon Valley Foundations. He created an innovative sudden millionaire/spiritual wealth class for their purpose-driven millionaires.

William has lived, worked, and traveled to 90+ countries. But in 2005, he left Silicon Valley, moved to Kyiv, Ukraine, and went on his spiritual journey to help widows, orphans, and startups.

He moved to Durham in 2014. He and his family usually summer in Ukraine and winter in Durham.
