In his role, he leverages the firm’s resources and provides  expert consultation in the area of benefit plan design and  development for clients in the 25‐100 employee market  segment. Prior to joining HCW, Jay served as a financial  advisor for Verity Investments and Merrill Lynch, where he  developed lasting relationships with local clients by helping them strategically meet their short‐term and  long‐term financial goals. Before establishing his career in the financial sector, Jay was instrumental in  growing and maintaining his family’s car dealership at Elkins Chrysler Mitsubishi in Durham, NC.    Jay graduated from Furman University with a degree in both History and Political Science. A longtime  North Carolina resident, Jay resides in Chapel Hill with his wife and two children. \n \n \n \n \n \n​\n
